ABOUT THIS EVENT
Social Media is a valuable tool that most credit unions are using to help promote their credit union and increase their membership. With social media comes a risk that credit unions need to be aware of so they don't fall out of compliance and open up their credit unions to fines and lawsuits. This session will discuss the pitfalls to avoid from a compliance perspective and provide guidance for your credit union moving forward.
Topics Include:
- How social media comes into play under TILA, TISA and FTC rules
- What credit unions must know about social media
- Credit union rights with employees and social media
- "Advertisements" on a credit union's social media page
- Endorsements, testimonials, lotteries and sweepstakes on social media pages
- Liabilities a credit union faces on Facebook, Twitter, and the like, including copyright infringement

TUITION
Registration is $99 per attendee or $69 each for multiple attendees from the same credit union. To receive the multiple attendee discount, all registrations must be processed in the same order.
